A little travel update for those of you following along. This first half of the year is filled with travels around the U.S. and I've been loving every minute of it! You saw from Part 1 and Part 2 of my Alt Summit posts that I was in Palm Springs in January. About a month ago in February, myself, Dom and a couple of friends of ours headed to Portland!
It was our first time going, but our friends had gone once before. The culture in Portland has been one of my favorites here in the U.S. The food was amazing-- seriously, nothing was a disappointment. Every place we went to was SO delicious. We took the N Mississippi Ave food tour with Forktown Food Tours, and every bite was killer! I think my favorite dish was Thai noodle salad from Mee Sen Thai Eatery. Some of the best cocktails we had on the trip was at Sidecar 11. A really cute a charming location that still has a cozy vibe. We did some shopping at the The Meadow and on our list of things we bought was a salt board. You can cook or serve on it and saltiness seeps into the food on it! Mmmm....
We also took a drive to the coast and visit the Tillamook factory and Cannon Beach. This trip was so fun and I can't wait to go back to Portland and explore more.
