I’m a huge fan of traveling and exploring. I love going on big vacations to new places that I’ve never been before. Weekend getaways always help clear my mind. And I also love to take time in the place I live (SF Bay Area) to explore new local spots.

Calling the San Francisco Bay Area home is a privilege a lot of people get to say, but most of these folks have moved here because of work. San Francisco is a bit different for me, because this has always been my home. I’m a local Bay Area native and very proud to say so! There’s something about seeing a city evolve over time. San Francisco has changed so much in the last century, but bits of each decade still remain a strong part of what today’s SF culture is all about.
When you visit there are a few things you should definitely keep in mind. First, come with an empty tummy. There’s so much good food here in the city, and you’re going to want to try everything! Second, dress in layers! San Francisco can be very chilly since it’s right by the bay. As Mark Twain quoted, “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” Third, this city is full of hills, so bring a comfy pair of shoes…
